6 weeks old

Ava is 6 weeks old today--it's crazy how quickly the time has flown!  She seems to be growing and growing each and every day.  It seems like just within the last week she has really changed.  She now spends more time awake and content during the day.  In fact, Grandma Cindy came to babysit this morning for my first half day back to work, and the report I was given was that Ava only slept about 35 minutes all morning.  Impressive!  Ava received a few gift cards and we decided to put them towards an activity gym (I think this is what they are called...) for the floor.  We got it out over the weekend and she seems to enjoy it.  She will spend about 20-30 minutes laying on it.  She still doesn't like tummy time too much--she will do it for a few minutes and then she says she's had enough.  Ava is slowly increasing the length that she sleeps at night.  She usually averages about 3 hours; however, one night last weekend she went a record 4 hours and 45 minutes!  TJ and I couldn't believe it!! She is eating anywhere from 3-4 ounces every 3-4 hours.

TJ's sister and her family came to visit the third weekend in October.  It was so great to see them!  This was the first time Ava got to meet them.

 Ava-Mommy Snuggle time is the best!!  This is our favorite way to snuggle!!  Oreo likes to be included, too.
